As some of you know Czar’s Promise is an organization that is close to our hearts, but this year the Inspiring Hope Walk has a different meaning to us. This year we are walking in honor of our Lucy girl.
On September 21,2021 our sweet Lucy was diagnosed with cancer. Our family was shocked, saddened and angry but we knew we were going to do whatever it took to make sure Lucy had a fighting chance. After a follow-up visit to our vet and all the great resources from our friends at Czar’s Promise, we felt we had a good plan to kick cancer’s butt! Unfortunately, Lucy’s cancer was too aggressive and we lost her 12 days later on October 3rd, four days before her 8th birthday. Our family was devastated and heartbroken.
Please join me to help raise funds to fight canine and pediatric cancer, support those that receive a diagnosis and fund research to find cures for this horrible disease because we all know CANCER SUCKS!
