HOPE
A 4 letter word that means the world to me. After my 13 year battle with stage IV melanoma - I never gave up hope.
This walk is a way I can give hope to others for their beloved pets facing cancer. Hopefully more time with their pets.
I also believe strongly in cancer research. I have taken part in 3 clinical research studies during my cancer journey. These studies may not immediately cure cancer but it’s a series of steps to answer questions. More information, what worked & what didn’t.
Cancer was a part of my life that I can say “I won.” I want to give more hope & “wins” to people & their canine family member.
