Always and forever
When Velma came into my life I had not idea then that my life would be changed forever. She was my compass, filled with goodness and a spirit like nothing I'd ever experienced...she was my heart. So when she was diagnosed with cancer, I knew I would do everything to help her live a strong, happy, beautiful, safe life, whatever that looked like. And we did, for seven years, through surgeries and treatments, she was a warrior, joyful and we lived a life filled happiness.
When the day came for us to part, I told her I would love her forever and that I would do what I could to help others on this journey.
So in her memory, I am participating in the Czar's Promise Inspiring Hope Walk again this year to help those who are on this journey now and and for those who will come after. I love you Pnut. Always and forever.
