In Memory of Milo ❤️
Seven years old. That’s how old Milo was when we heard the words no dog parent ever wants to hear: cancer.
We were told he had just 3–6 months. But Milo had other plans.
He absolutely rocked chemotherapy. He fought through treatment with the same spirit, stubbornness, and joy that made him so incredibly special. And instead of 3–6 months, we were given six more wonderful years with him. Milo lived to be 13.
Those six years gave us countless more walks, adventures, couch cuddles, treats, goofy moments, and memories that we will treasure forever. They were six years we never expected to have—and we will always be grateful for every single one of them.
Eventually, cancer took Milo from us. But I don't want that to be the end of his story.
I'm raising money in Milo's memory to support canine cancer research and families facing the financial burden of cancer treatment for their pets.
When Milo was diagnosed, we were fortunate enough to be able to pursue treatment. Chemotherapy gave us six precious years that we otherwise might not have had. But I know that not every family has the financial ability to say yes to treatment when their dog is diagnosed with cancer. No one should have to face the heartbreaking decision of whether they can afford to give their beloved companion a chance.
That's why this cause means so much to me. Donations can help support research toward better treatments while also helping families access the care their pets need—giving more dogs a fighting chance and, most importantly, giving their people more time together.
Milo's six extra years were a gift. I would love for his legacy to help give that same gift of time to other families.
If you knew Milo, you know how much love, personality, and life he packed into every day. If you didn't, I hope you’ll take my word for it: he was one of the really special ones.
Please consider making a donation in Milo's memory. Every contribution, big or small, can help another dog and another family facing a cancer diagnosis.
For Milo. For more time. For more tail wags, adventures, and years together. ❤️
