Czar's Promise annual Hope Walk
Hi Friends! This Sunday, October 13th, I will be walking in the 5th annual Czars Promise Hope Walk. Czar's Promise provides funding for pediatric and companion animal cancer research at UW Health – American Family Children’s Hospital and UW School of Veterinary Medicine in Madison, WI. In addition, your support ensures local families whose canines and felines have been diagnosed with cancer, receive the emotional, educational and financial support needed as their companion animals receive chemotherapy, radiation or palliative care treatment.
As most of you know, I had to say goodbye to my beloved Princess Leia 1-year ago, after a long hard fight against Lymphoma. Czar's Promise provided us with some monetary support to help with the very costly chemotherapy regimen, but more importantly, they provided emotional support during that very hard time.
Please consider a donation, so they may continue their research so one day none of us will have to endure the dreaded cancer diagnosis in our best friend.
