Amara's Invitation for You ~ Let's RAISE FIVE PAWS!
In 2024, Baby Amara turned 9 years young...and in that 9 years as my velcro Baby A, she has been by my side ever since Czar's Promise was founded in 2018. And in that time, she has seen the passing of my soul sister, her teacher and bestie, Tundra the Great Pyrenees, from bone cancer. Amara has also seen tears shed and heard stories of Czar and Baby Bear Osa, who both went before her, from bone cancer and hemangiosarcoma, and for whom Czar's Promise was inspired.
Amara shares time and space at my feet every single day, as conversations are had with families celebrating the joy of their best pup or kitty completing chemtherapy or radiation, or hearing the words, REMISSION, savoring their latest adventure or vacation, or celebrating a canine or feline birthday or holiday together! Amara is also by my side, during times of conversation when families experience grief in the passing of their best companion, or face a change in their cancer diagnosis, or if a shoulder or an ear is needed to lend comfort. She sees every moment of planning for events, caring for the families, collaborating with our team, learning about local pediatric and companion animal oncology research, preparing for board meetings, engaging with our community partners, and even popping in on Zoom meetings! She is my rock, and my roll......and in 2024 Amara wants to ROLL!
Join Amara and her special invitation to RAISE FIVE PAWS for our 2024 Inspiring Hope Walk on Sunday, October 13 at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg! And in Newfoundland math, five paws equals $5,000! Between September 3 and October 13, 2024, for each gift provided to Amara's fundraising efforts, Baby A will create a special thank you along with a bitta somethin' somethin' that is super sweet to show her Newf sized gratitude for helping over 50 very loved pets in their cancer fight! Amara will check in often right up until October 13 to let everyone know if she has reached her goal to RAISE FIVE PAWS! And our loyal Guardian, protector, snuggle bug and confidente', Lucciano Armand, will be right behind us all the way...
And to Czar, Baby Bear Osa and Tundra, for whom I dedicate each hour of every day to your memory, this is for you.....I will never, ever stop this fight.
