2023 - 10 Years of a Promise Made
2023 is a milstone year for Czar's Promise in so many ways. December 20, 2023 will mark 10 years since beautifulf Czar and I had our last conversations, last kisses, last hugs, and last moments together as he transitioned from this world as we know it to be, to the next chapter in his beautiful life. Czar's 19-month journey with bone cancer had ended, and that day brought every range of emotion imaginable, which still exist today. But it also brought a Promise. One we made to each other, that came to be in the form of ensuring other families like Czar's, would never travel this path alone. Ever again. And that every opportunity would be taken, to find a way, so that no family would ever have to hear "your pet has cancer". Ever again.
This year, we also celebrate 5 years of keeping that Promise. Caring for over 125 families whose canines and felines have been diagnosed with cancer, and providing over $140,000.00 in grant reserach to help find a cure in children as well as our companion animals. And SO much more....
2023 is dedicated to Czar, Baby Bear Osa, Tundra and each and every family who Czar's Promise has or is engaged with to lend support in so many ways over the past 5 years. Each very special canine and feline is the heart of the Promise kept, and the Czar's Promise organization.
Czar Bear. There will never be enough words to describe the inspiration and love you continue to give, every single day, and how much I miss your beautiful face and soul. Thank you for always being the light that guides, the shine in the sun and moon, and the paw that holds my hand.
