Scuba's success
Scuba was rescued as a puppy on the street from a Caribbean Island. He led a pampered life until he suddenly got sick when he was only 6 years old. All of a sudden he was drinking buckets of water and started urinating in the house. An investigation revealed that his calcium was very high causing his symptoms. One of the most common causes of a high calcium is underlying cancer. So further investigation revealed a large thoracic tumor that was found to be T cell lymphoma. Scuba started chemotherapy right away and also received an IV infusion right away to reduce his calcium level. He handled his chemotherapy treatment like a trooper with his biggest issue being loss of appetite. He went into remission quickly and is still in remission at this time and has hopefully achieved a cure.
