Czar's Promise Inspiring Hope Walk
I will be participating in the Czar's Promise Inspiring Hope Walk on May 11th in support of raising funds for research for companion animals and children in the community who face cancer
They have a 3 tiered mission:
Raising funds for canine cancer research
Raising funds for pediatric cancer research
Providing financial, emotional and educational support to families who have received such a diagnosis
Every one of us will be touched by cancer at some point in our lives. I've had friends, family members and pets fight and pass from cancer. It is heartbreaking to receive such a diagnosis and this organization has teamed up with the American Family Children’s Hospital, UW Carbone Cancer Center, and UW-SVM in an effort to get grants that will fund research for better treatments and hopefully one day a cure.
I hope you will join me in helping raise funds for such a noble and local cause.
